Description
Rutin (Rutoside) is a flavonoid found in many plants and shows a wide range of biological activities including anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antioxidant, neuroprotective, nephroprotective, hepatoprotective and reducing Aβ oligomer activities. Rutin can cross the blood brain barrier. Rutin attenuates vancomycin-induced renal tubular cell apoptosis via suppression of apoptosis, mitochondrial dysfunction, and oxidative stress

How to use
In Vitro:
Rutin, a flavonol glycoside found in many plants including buckwheat; tobacco; forsythia; hydrangea; viola, etc., which possesses healthy effects for human. Rutin inhibits platelet aggregation as well as decreases capillary permeability, making the blood thinner and improving circulation. Recent studies show rutin could help prevent blood clots, so could be used to treat patients at risk of heart attacks and strokes.
In Vivo:
LD50: Mice 650mg/kg (i.p.)
