Description
TAME is a competitive inhibitor of the ubiquitin ligase anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C). It promotes Cdc20 autoubiquitination and inhibits cyclin proteolysis in mitotic Xenopus oocyte extracts (IC50 ~ 12 μM) and blocks cyclin degradation in interphase extract.
