beta-Sitosterol is a lipid regulating agent which may reduce benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and blood cholesterol levels. Studies have shown that beta-Sitosterol interferes with multiple cell signaling pathways, including cell cycle, apoptosis, proliferation, survival, invasion, angiogenesis, metastasis and inflammation.
