Description
Paederosidic acid is isolated from P. scandens with anticancer and anti‐inflammation activities. Paederosidic acid inhibits lung caner cells via inducing mitochondria-mediated apoptosis.

How to use
In Vitro:
Paederosidic acid (40 μg/ml; 24 hours and 48 hours) has no significant effect on BSAS-2B cells, it exhibits obvious effects on NCI-H1650, HCC827, A549 cells with IC50 values of 40.68, 42.58, and 36.48 μg/ml, respectively. Paederosidic acid induces mitochondria-mediated apoptosis via up-regulation of caspase-3, caspase-8, caspase-9, Bid, Bax, down-regulation of Bcl-2 and stimulating the release of Cyto-C from mitochondria in lung cancer cells.
