In Vitro:
The apoptotic pathway activated after exposure of HL-60 cells to Cordycepin is caspase-8 dependent, because Z-LE(OMe)TD(OMe)-FMK partly inhibits endonucleosomal cleavage of DNA induced by cordycepin alone.
